CHARACTER INFO.
NAME: Tony
CANON: Toward the Terra / Terra e...
AGE: Physically 18+, in reality he's much younger than that. Less than 10 years old, and at a minimum 4. Mentally, however, older than that. He's just Complicated.
APPEARANCE: image.
CANON POINT: Awaiting the end of Jomy's meeting on Terra, but before the quakes start.

BACKGROUND: wiki link.

PERSONALITY:

" Jomy. You were watching, right? From cruisers to battleships, we sunk them all.
You know, there's no way humans can compete with us. I even thought about dropping that lifeboat.
There's no time to be dealing with them.
Then I realized you were thinking the same thing... That made me really happy. "

List of things Tony dislikes: humans, computers. List of things Tony likes: a few select comrades and his "Grandpa", leader of the Mu, Jomy Marquis Shin. List of things Tony feels or thinks very little about: Everything Else.

With a list like that, it's easy to see that Tony might not be the first individual you want to befriend. Really, there's no doubting that he's... special. Maybe it's the fact that he's one of the first babies born outside of a test tube, in a society controlled by a computer system and structured in programming. Maybe it's the fact he's a child with immense psychic power rivalled by only eight others, or maybe it's his completely xenophobic, unrepentant and sometimes absolutely destructive behaviour that can only be controlled by the person he's devoted his life to.

Or maybe it's just his Fabulous Hair.

Either way, Tony isn't number one on the list of "Terra's Top 20 Stable Individuals", and it's for good reason. As a member of an ostracized race hunted down by humans under the direction of their supercomputer overlord, Tony's only moment of respite in a life full of strife was the few short years he spent on Nazca, a planet colonized for the sake of peace, before even that was destroyed by the humans. At the age of four, his mother was murdered and his birthplace was destroyed--for no reason other than the fact humans were meant to destroy Mu. At the age of four, Tony was forced to grow and develop powers that wear down even individuals decades older than him, in order to protect his planet and his race. At the age of four, Tony developed and grew at a rate that was beyond natural, leaving himself in a body at least fourteen years older than he actually was. He'd resolved to make himself a weapon for the leader of the Mu, the man he'd dedicated himself to. His comrades and himself were seen as monsters even by their own race, and he'd resolved himself not to care. That's how Tony takes most things in life that aren't directly related to the mission given to him by his purpose, Jomy, or directly related to the people by his side.

"Who cares" is his response to a lot of things.

That's why you can say, despite how quickly he needed to grow... Tony is in many ways a child. Hot-headed and prone to impulsive behaviours that can only be controlled by his aforementioned purpose, Tony is surprisingly emotional for someone who acts so flippant and stoic in matters that he doesn't think he needs to be concerned about (hint: most matters). He's sarcastic and a bit spiteful. Overconfident, fitting himself with a "holier than thou" attitude towards those he considers inferior, even those Mu weaker than him. He's strong, incredibly strong, and he knows it. He shows it off, never holds back, and he's playful in a cruel way that fits the monstrous persona people stick him with. The lives of humans, surrendering after they find themselves completely outmatched? Taking care of them as hostages would be a waste of time with no purpose, so let's kill them. Jomy walking into the stronghold of humans and their automatic system for the sake of peace? That's a trap, and I won't let you risk your life for a bunch of crap! Tony is stubborn, obsessed with his beliefs and convictions, and incredibly simple-minded. When he's set his mind to something, good luck convincing him to back down, or even think about anything else. Even his close comrades remark on his complete blind devotion to Jomy--Artella, in particular, finds it annoying that his interest is always on "Grandpa" when she's trying to get his focus on her. See, this is the guy that when he's... being flirted with, offered a drink... he says, innocently, "Isn't that yours?" before going back to tinkering with his ship in order to be prepared to set off to fight.

For... you guessed it. Jomy.

His blind devotion isn't completely negative, of course. It brings a lot of his other traits to light. His never-ending loyalty for people he cares about, the side of him that'll without a moment's hesitation sacrifice himself to save a comrade, or avenge a comrade. His ability to take things into his own hands, never staying still, exemplified in his decision to infiltrate the human commander's ship, alone, and kill him in order to end the strife once and for all. He is fearless and unhesitant with the things he feels he needs to do. Unquestioning and devoted, with all his being, to what he believes is the right path. As an empath, he feels and prides himself at being in tune with the emotions of those who're important. He strives to do what's best for them, strives to make himself of use to them. He's his own type of leader, even if what he leads and motivates people on is someone else's path.

" Compensation.
What will you give as compensation, and how?
You communicated with the man with Members, let him get away,
and as a result our friends and my mother were killed...
I won't be tricked. You're a human who received powers from Blue.
I smell the same scent from you that I smelled from that Members guy."

But he's also a double-edged sword, for as much consideration as he throws towards those he cares about... the same amount of spite is thrown in the direction of those he hates. Mercy isn't a courtesy he extends to his enemies, as he aims to make his sworn enemies suffer like he, or others, have. He feels everything to an extreme, and his need for revenge is no exception to that rule. Keith, the Human Commander's, planned end at his hands isn't quick, but agonizingly slow. As an individual with the power to apparently stop a person's heart with a thought, Tony chooses to choke him to death, never looking away even as Keith begins foaming at the mouth. His need for vengeance runs so deep that, even when a fellow Mu (Matsuka) places himself against him to protect Keith? He doesn't hesitate, and fights him, even though it's with constant questioning. In the end, Matsuka takes a blast meant for Keith, and his blood is on Tony's hands.

And despite what he says about how uncaring he is towards humans, or fellow Mu... how his focus is only on Jomy, well. He regrets that a lot.

So, yes, Tony is absolutely an unfeeling bastard towards the things he categorizes as "evil". They're beyond help, beyond compromise. But Tony is easily devastated when his own actions make him act out in a way that put him outside of his own belief system. He's also not completely incapable of change, either... But as a cynical individual who's seen only the darker sides of humanity, he's hard to convince and not at all prone to falling for pretty words. Even if he believes in the connection between Humans and Mu at the end of the series.

But for now, while he's still rough around the edges, there's no doubting that Tony is as powerful, convicted and loyal as he is deadly.

ABILITIES:

As a "Type Blue" Mu, Tony has very large scale psionic abilities and is basically one of nine Mu who can be considered Space Jesus. There's no clear indication of just how far his abilities stretch, but what is seen in canon is the following.

Force Fields: Incredibly strong force fields that stops laser cannons from ships that can destroy a planet. Like... Wow, Buddy. These also come in a smaller scale, which are used to block things like bullets and the like. Blocking a DEATH LASER!! takes a large amount of energy and is time-limited, of course, but deflecting bullets seems like a particularly easy task.
Telekinesis: Movement of objects ranging from large to small. Large boulders, people, planes. You name it, Tony can move it with some effort.
Empathy: He can feel emotions and sense killing intent, though this is a pretty normal power for all Mus.
Teleportation: Limited, but it's still lengthy distances considering SPACE.
Telepathy: This includes reading thoughts and speaking to others mentally, as well as inserting images/thoughts into other people. There's no mind control or anything.
Flight: Also through space, which means he has no troubles breathing... in it... for some reason. He also flies Very Fast, we're talking missile speeds.
Spiritual Projection: Though he's not seen using it personally, other Mus can use it, as well as another Type Blue so it's assumed he's also capable of this. He makes a hologram of himself that can be interacted with, and it also speaks as if he himself were there.
Psionic blasts / force: Tony can mentally blow up whole fleets of ships if he's pissed off enough (this is Dangerous, however, and can result in death). SMACK THING, BREAK THING is what this is basically.

Mu who have the same origins as him have also been shown doing some form of elemental manipulation, such as forming rocks to cover their hands and forming gusts of wind and fire.

TL;DR: Tony is as strong as he is immature, which is Very. Shields and the like can be broken through if he's weakened or not paying attention, as is the case with most powers originating from the mind.

INVENTORY:

Nothing but the clothes on his back.

WRITING SAMPLES.
NETWORK SAMPLE:

about missions.
if you're going to hold me back, don't bother coming along with me.

[ wow. this is the nice message that hits the network today, from one loving "TONY". ]

i don't need help, especially when the bulk of you are human.
some of you may be less powerless than what i'm used to, but as far as i'm concerned, that just makes you more dangerous. the only reason i'm here helping you now is because it's what i need to do to get back to where i need to be. and the only reason i'm talking to you is so we won't waste both our breaths when they make the mistake of putting us together. i won't have to explain why i don't want to put up with you, and you won't annoy me trying to change my mind.

i put this bluntly enough so that even the dullest of you can get it, in the method that all of you are so fond of.

since i made that sacrifice, do me a favor and stop wasting my time.

[ is there something nicer? oh, nope, that's it.

wow! what a swell guy. ]

LOG SAMPLE:

[ so, perhaps there's still some struggling with the screeching wyrmlings in camp. any high-pitched cries of distress from those unable to wrangle their little babies will visibly unsettle this pink-haired young man sitting as far as possible from the area while remaining... at least somewhat present.

he's surrounded by his own couple of wyrmlings, and they seem... incredibly calm. mostly due to some good old fashioned mental linking, and... some understanding of their situation. villagers killed their mother, and now they're left alone. isn't that how it always goes? humans mess up everything they touch, are only capable of destruction, and their interaction with nature is no exception.

that's mostly why he doesn't blame the noise on any of the dragon babies, and mostly on the people completely incapable of handling or seeing why they're not so keen on hanging around with their apparent enemies. he gets it. that's also why, if you approach...

( perhaps to see how tony got his dragons so quiet, or perhaps to interact with this individual who seems to be actively avoiding everyone else. )

well. needless to say he'll glance up at you distastefully, and offer an incredibly friendly: ]

What? Did you come up to make noise and ruin the peace here, too?

[ maybe you should just go on your way. ]
